• Contact and Support functions; and
• optional website analytics.

This Cookie Policy should be read together with the Addienator Privacy Policy, which explains how Addienator collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information.

The Addienator browser application also uses browser-storage technologies for active project work. Those technologies are addressed separately in Section 8 because they are not ordinary website cookies.

3. Cookies and Similar Technologies

3.1 Cookies

4. Necessary Website Technologies

4.1 Purpose

Necessary cookies and similar technologies support functions requested by the visitor or required for the website and protected member area to operate.

They may be used for:

• authentication and sign-in;
• protected member access;
• session management;
• membership and subscription checkout;
• form operation;
• fraud and abuse prevention;
• load balancing or technical delivery;
• storage and application of consent preferences; and
• other functions expressly requested by the visitor.

4.2 Availability

Necessary technologies remain available when optional Analytics is rejected.

Because these technologies support security or a function requested by the visitor, they are not controlled through the optional Analytics category.

Disabling necessary cookies through browser settings may prevent parts of the website, sign-in process, checkout, member area, or protected application from operating correctly.

4.3 No Advertising Purpose

Necessary technologies are not used by Addienator for advertising, remarketing, or behavioural-advertising personalization.

5. Optional Analytics

5.1 Google Analytics

Addienator uses Google Analytics as its optional website statistics service.

Optional Analytics helps Addienator understand matters such as:

• which public pages are visited;
• how visitors move through the website;
• whether pages function as expected;
• general website performance; and
• aggregated patterns that may help improve the website.

Google Analytics is not required to use the website’s necessary functions.

5.2 Analytics Consent

Analytics-cookie storage remains denied unless the visitor accepts optional Analytics through the consent interface.

When optional Analytics is accepted, Google Analytics may place or access analytics cookies and process measurement information under Google’s applicable terms, privacy practices, and technical configuration.

5.3 Advanced Consent Mode and Cookieless Signals

The website uses an advanced consent-mode configuration.

Before optional Analytics is accepted, or while Analytics remains rejected:

• advertising personalization;

• behavioural-advertising trackers; or
• other marketing-tracker categories.

If Addienator introduces a new optional tracking purpose, this Cookie Policy and the consent controls will be updated before that purpose is activated where required by law.

6. Your Consent Choices

6.1 Initial Choice

The consent interface provides the following controls:

Accept all cookies

This accepts optional Analytics in addition to necessary website technologies.

Necessary only

This rejects optional Analytics while keeping necessary website technologies available.

Choose settings

This opens the available categories so the visitor can review and select the optional setting.

6.2 No Consent Through Continued Browsing

Continuing to browse the website without selecting an affirmative Analytics choice does not activate optional Analytics-cookie storage.

6.3 Changing or Withdrawing a Choice

You may review, change, or withdraw an earlier optional Analytics choice through the “Privacy choices” link in the website footer.

A changed choice applies prospectively.

Withdrawing optional Analytics consent does not:

• disable necessary website technologies;
• invalidate processing that occurred lawfully before withdrawal;
• automatically remove information already processed by the analytics provider; or
• delete Addienator project data stored separately in your browser or project files.

6.4 Browser Settings

You may also use your browser settings to block or delete cookies.

Browser-level blocking may affect necessary website functions and may not replace the website’s consent interface for recording category-level choices.

7. Current Cookie Register

The cookies used can vary with the page, your sign-in state, browser and privacy choices. Some expire sooner, and persistent periods may renew when a cookie is used. Cloudflare also supplies cookieless website performance measurements and Turnstile security checks on forms and sign-in pages. These technical requests are separate from Google Analytics cookies.

8. Addienator Application Storage

8.1 Separate from Website Cookies

The Addienator application uses browser storage to support active project work.

This project storage is functionally separate from the public website’s optional Analytics category.

Rejecting optional Analytics does not prevent the Addienator application from using the storage required to perform project functions requested by the user.

8.2 Browser Session Storage

Active project state and a Standard or Pro Google Gemini API key may be held in browser session storage.

The Google Gemini API key is not included in a saved portable .addie project file.

Session storage may be removed when the browser session ends or when browser data is cleared, depending on the browser and device configuration.

8.3 Browser Database Storage

Original PDFs, prepared source materials, and related local project artifacts may be stored in the browser’s local database storage on the user’s device.

Clearing browser or site data may remove this project material.

8.4 Portable Project Files

A portable .addie project file may contain:

• project content;
• original source files;
• prepared source materials;
• project decisions;
• generated outputs; and
• working states.

A portable project file does not contain the user’s Google Gemini API key or Enterprise provider credentials.

Portable .addie project files are not encrypted.

Users must store, transmit, share, and back up portable project files according to the sensitivity of their contents and any applicable organizational requirements.

8.5 Additional Information

The Privacy Policy and Security and Data Handling page provide more information about:

• browser-based project storage;
• portable project files;
• Standard and Pro AI routing;
• Enterprise AI routing; and
• the boundary between Addienator and the selected AI provider.

9. Browser and Device Controls

Most browsers allow users to:

• view stored cookies;
• delete individual or all cookies;
• block cookies;
• clear site data;
• restrict third-party cookies; or
• configure automatic deletion.

The available controls differ by browser and device.

Blocking or clearing website data may:

• sign the user out;
• remove consent preferences;
• interrupt checkout or protected access;
• remove locally stored Addienator project information; or
• require the user to reconnect or restore a saved project.

Users are responsible for understanding the effect of clearing browser data before removing it.

A portable project file should be saved before clearing project-related browser storage where continued access to the project is required.

10. Third-Party Services

10.1 Google Analytics

Google provides the optional analytics service and the advanced consent-mode functionality described in Section 5.

Google processes information under its own terms, privacy practices, technical configuration, and applicable provider settings.

Addienator does not control Google’s:

• infrastructure;
• retention practices;
• deletion practices;
• regional processing;
• modelling methods;
• security controls; or
• future service changes.

10.2 Other Website Services

Necessary website functions may depend on service providers used for:

• account and membership access;
• payment processing;
• security;
• transactional email;
• form delivery;
• hosting; and
• consent management.

Those providers may use necessary cookies or similar technologies only as required to deliver the applicable function and under their respective agreements and privacy practices.

Section 7 summarizes the cookie groups and similar technologies used by the website.

10.3 Links to Other Websites

The Addienator website may link to external websites.

This Cookie Policy does not govern cookies or similar technologies used by an external website after the visitor leaves Addienator.

11. Changes to This Cookie Policy

Addienator may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes to:

• the website;
• account or membership functions;
• consent controls;
• analytics services;
• legal requirements;
• browser-storage practices; or
• third-party providers.

The revised Policy will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
