1. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how ATELIER ADDIE INC., operating as Addienator (“Addienator,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), handles personal information in connection with:

• the Addienator public website;
• member registration, subscriptions, billing administration, and protected access;
• Contact and Support submissions;
• consent preferences and optional website analytics;
• the browser-based Addienator application;
• portable Addienator project files; and
• AI connections used with Standard, Pro, and Enterprise plans.

This Privacy Policy applies only to information handled by Addienator. When information is sent to Google Gemini or to an AI provider selected by an Enterprise organization, that provider’s agreement, privacy terms, account settings, and technical configuration also apply.

3. Personal Information We Collect

3.1 Account and Membership Information

When you create or use an Addienator member account, we may process:

• your name;
• your email address;
• the general industry in which you work;
• account identifiers;
• authentication and sign-in information;
• membership and subscription status;
• transaction and billing-administration records; and
• technical information required to provide secure account access.

Payment-card information is processed by the payment provider identified during checkout. The payment provider’s terms and privacy practices govern its processing of that information.

3.2 Contact and Support Information

When you submit the Contact and Support form, we process the information you choose to provide, which may include:

• your name;
• your email address;
• the category and subject of your request;
• the contents of your message; and
• any other information you voluntarily include.

The form requires consent before submission.

The form warns users not to submit passwords, API keys, other credentials or secrets, payment-card information, or confidential source materials. Automated spam-prevention controls are used. The submitter’s IP address is not stored as part of the Contact and Support form entry.

3.3 Website and Consent Information

The website may process information required to:

• provide requested pages and functions;
• maintain security;
• manage sign-in and protected member access;
• complete membership checkout;
• remember consent preferences; and
• operate optional analytics when consent has been provided.

3.4 Project Content

Project content may include:

• uploaded PDFs and other source materials;
• prepared Source Documents;
• Discovery answers and scope decisions;
• Performance Objectives and Learning Objectives;
• course outlines;
• Design Documents;
• assessments and rubrics;
• Course Redesign content;
• On-the-Job Training content; and
• other project settings and generated outputs.

Addienator does not upload or retain this project content on central Addienator servers.

4. How We Use Personal Information

Addienator uses personal information only for purposes reasonably connected to operating and supporting the service, including:

• creating and managing member accounts;
• verifying membership and subscription access;
• processing and administering subscriptions and transactions;
• providing access to the protected application;
• maintaining website and account security;
• responding to product, sales, Enterprise, security, and support inquiries;
• delivering form notifications to the appropriate Addienator contact;
• maintaining consent preferences;
• operating optional website analytics when consent has been provided;
• using your industry response internally to understand the industries in which our members work and to tailor Addienator and its processes;
• diagnosing technical problems;
• preventing spam, fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access;
• maintaining legally required business and transaction records; and
• responding to privacy requests, legal obligations, disputes, or security incidents.

Addienator does not use project content received through an AI connection to train Addienator models or for unrelated secondary purposes. Addienator is not in the AI request path described in Section 6.

5. Project Storage and Portable Project Files

5.1 Browser Storage

The Addienator application runs in the user’s web browser. Active project information, original source files, prepared source materials, and working content may be stored in browser storage on the user’s device.

Addienator does not maintain a central server copy of this project information.

Browser storage is not a permanent backup. Users are responsible for saving portable project files and protecting them according to their own or their organization’s storage, backup, and security requirements.

5.2 Portable Project Files

When a user saves a project, Addienator creates a portable .addie project file on the user’s device.

A portable project file may contain:

• source files;
• project decisions and settings;
• generated content;
• completed module outputs; and
• in-progress working states.

The project file does not contain the user’s Google Gemini API key or Enterprise provider credentials.

Portable .addie project files are not encrypted. Users must protect, store, transmit, and back them up as they would any other file containing confidential or sensitive business information.

Addienator does not retain a server copy of a portable project file.

6. AI Connections and Provider Processing

6.1 Standard and Pro

Standard and Pro users connect their own Google Gemini API key.

When a user requests AI processing, selected project content, instructions, and supported file operations are sent directly from the user’s browser to Google. The model response returns from Google to the user’s browser.

The API key remains in browser session storage for the current session. It is not included in the portable .addie project file.

Google’s terms, privacy practices, account settings, provider capabilities, regional processing, retention, and content-use rules govern information processed through the Google connection.

Addienator does not receive or store the project content exchanged through this connection.

6.2 Enterprise

Enterprise AI requests travel:

1. from the member’s browser;
2. through a proxy hosted and controlled by the member’s organization; and
3. to the AI provider configured by that organization.

Provider credentials remain in the organization-hosted proxy and are not entered into team members’ browsers.

The organization selects and manages the provider account and the logging, retention, deletion, model, and regional settings available under its provider agreement.

Addienator supplies the browser application but is not part of the Enterprise AI request path.

If the organization-controlled route is missing, invalid, unsafe, or no longer approved, Addienator blocks the AI request. It does not silently switch to a personal API key or another unapproved route.

6.3 Provider Terms

Addienator does not replace, modify, or control the legal terms between a user or organization and its selected AI provider.

Users and Enterprise organizations are responsible for confirming that their selected provider, account, model, region, retention settings, and intended use are permitted under their policies and applicable legal requirements.

7. Cookies, Consent, and Analytics

7.1 Necessary Cookies

The website uses necessary cookies and similar technologies for functions requested by the user, including:

• website security;
• sign-in;
• account and membership access;
• membership checkout;
• session management; and
• storage of consent preferences.

These functions may not operate correctly without the necessary cookies.

7.2 Optional Analytics

Google Analytics is optional.

Analytics cookies remain disabled unless a visitor provides consent through the website’s consent controls. Before that choice, limited technical consent-status signals may be transmitted without setting analytics cookies.

Advertising storage, advertising personalization, remarketing, and other marketing trackers remain disabled.

Visitors may review or withdraw optional analytics consent at any time through the “Privacy choices” link in the website footer.

7.3 Withdrawal of Consent

Withdrawing optional analytics consent does not affect necessary cookies required for security, sign-in, protected access, checkout, or other functions requested by the user.

Withdrawal applies prospectively and does not make earlier lawful processing invalid.

8. How Information Is Disclosed

Addienator may disclose personal information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to:

• website, account, and membership service providers;
• the payment provider identified during checkout;
• the transactional email service used to deliver Contact and Support notifications;
• the consent-management and analytics providers described in Section 7;
• Google, when a Standard or Pro user requests AI processing;
• the organization-hosted proxy and configured AI provider used for Enterprise processing;
• professional advisers where reasonably necessary;
• government, regulatory, law-enforcement, or judicial authorities where disclosure is required or authorized by law; and
• another entity in connection with a proposed or completed business reorganization, financing, sale, merger, or transfer, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal requirements.

Each third-party provider processes information under its own agreement, terms, privacy practices, and technical configuration.

Addienator does not sell your industry response or disclose it to third parties for their own purposes. Like other account information, it may be processed only on Addienator’s behalf by service providers that host or operate the website and membership system.

9. Retention and Deletion

Addienator retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, meet legal or accounting requirements, resolve disputes, maintain security, and enforce applicable agreements.

9.1 Contact and Support Submissions

Contact and Support submissions are permanently deleted within 90 days after submission, unless a longer retention period is required by applicable law.

9.2 Account, Membership, and Transaction Records

Account and membership information is retained for as long as needed to provide and administer the account, subscription, and protected access.

Some transaction, billing, security, and account records may be retained after an account ends where required for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or security purposes.

9.3 Consent and Analytics Information

Consent preferences are retained as needed to record and apply the visitor’s choices.

Optional analytics information is retained according to the analytics configuration in effect and the analytics provider’s applicable terms.

9.4 Project Content

Addienator does not retain project content on central Addienator servers.

Project information in browser storage remains on the user’s device until it is removed by the user, cleared by the browser, removed through application functions, or lost because of device or browser changes.

Portable project files remain under the control of the user or organization that saves them. Addienator cannot delete copies stored on a user’s device, shared with another person, or placed in internal or third-party storage by the user.

10. Security Safeguards

Addienator uses administrative and technical measures designed to protect personal information handled through the website and membership services against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or loss.

Product safeguards include:

• browser-based project storage;
• separation between website account systems and project work;
• session-only handling of Standard and Pro API keys;
• exclusion of AI credentials from portable project files;
• organization-controlled routing for Enterprise AI requests;
• blocking of invalid or unapproved Enterprise routes;
• consent controls for optional analytics;
• automated spam-prevention measures; and
• warnings against submitting credentials, payment information, or confidential source materials through public forms.

No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Users remain responsible for protecting their account credentials, devices, browser profiles, API keys, portable project files, and any copies they create or share.

Portable .addie project files are not encrypted.

11. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

• request access to personal information Addienator holds about you;
• request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal information;
• withdraw consent for optional processing, subject to legal or contractual restrictions;
• request information about how your personal information has been used or disclosed;
• raise a concern or complaint about Addienator’s privacy practices; and
• ask questions about the retention or deletion of personal information.

To make a privacy request, you may:

• use the Contact and Support form and identify your message as a privacy request; or
• email support@addienator.com.

Addienator may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Requests will be handled within the time required by applicable law.

Do not send passwords, API keys, other credentials, payment-card information, or confidential source materials with a privacy request.

Optional analytics consent may be reviewed or withdrawn through the “Privacy choices” link in the website footer.

If you are not satisfied with Addienator’s response, you may have the right to contact the privacy regulator responsible for your jurisdiction.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

Addienator may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the service, legal requirements, providers, or information-handling practices.

The revised policy will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Where required by applicable law, Addienator will provide additional notice or obtain consent before applying a material change.
